Whispers of Dawn: A Mountain Landscape, Tänndalen, Sweden
Early morning mist fills the valleys of Tänndalen in Härjedalen, Sweden, as the first light of dawn colors the sky above the distant mountains. Layers of forest and low clouds create a calm and atmospheric Nordic landscape.
This was taken sometime between four and half past four in the morning in early July, from the mountain car park at Svansjön. At that hour everything is still completely quiet, fog still sits in the valleys, and the first light has only just started to colour the sky. The print comes in several sizes and works well as a calm focal point in a room where you want to keep a bit of that early-morning feeling.
